Most recently, Tani has advocated for first-generation college students through her position with Roosevelt University. She has also held professional positions with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois and United Way of Metropolitan Chicago. Tani is actively involved with the Asian Giving Circle, an initiative of The Chicago Community Trust, and Northwest Suburban Alliance on Domestic Violence, among numerous other community organizations.
