At its May meeting, the Board of Education announced the hiring of two new administrators. David DeMuth will serve as the next principal at Cooper Middle School and Samantha Roth will serve as the next assistant principal at London Middle School. Both will assume their positions for the 2019-2020 school year.
Dave joins Cooper Middle School after serving four years as an assistant principal at Twin Groves Middle School in neighboring Kildeer-Countryside School District 96. Dave is an instructional leader who facilitates and supports effective teaching practices. Dave’s background is in teaching middle school math, having previously worked in Evanston-Skokie School District 65.
Samantha has spent her educational career in North Shore School District 112 serving in both elementary and middle school settings. She currently works as a fifth grade teacher where she has assumed a teacher-leader role on the school leadership team, and has mentored a new colleague. Samantha also brings seven years of experience as a special education teacher.
