The following message was sent to parents on August 28 regarding upcoming MAP assessments. If you did not receive this message, please contact your school’s main office to ensure your contact information is up-to-date.

Dear CCSD21 families,

Information below will help you prepare your child to take the MAP Assessment(s). Districtwide, testing will take place from September 1-9. You will receive additional directions, including your child’s testing date and time, from your child’s teacher. If possible, please have an adult available to support your child’s testing during their testing window.

Test Preparation

Prior to Test Day

  1. Make sure your student has their district-assigned device ready for testing. Students can not use personal devices for MAP testing.
  2. Make sure the device is charged and has a strong internet connection.

On Test Day

  1. Minimize distractions for your child as much as possible
  2. Provide a quiet testing environment and have your child’s district-issued headset ready
  3. Allow the teacher/proctor to open the session first
  4. Follow any additional instructions from the teacher/proctor
