Recognizing Distinction staff members named

At the February Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Dr. Kate Hyland and Board President Bill Harrison, on behalf of the Board of Education, publicly acknowledged the hard work and efforts of educational support personnel through Recognizing Distinction. The individuals honored this year were:

  • Franca Cirrincione and Teresa Keane, Cooper Middle School-Secretaries
  • Anne Krzoska, Riley Elementary School-Registered Nurse
  • Steve Hixson, Hawthorne Early Childhood School-Head Custodian
  • Char Lemke, Gill Administration Center-Purchasing Coordinator

Educational support personnel were recognized for demonstrating and advancing District 21 values and the characteristics of a Professional Learning Community. These characteristics include:

  • Responding appropriately to all stakeholders
