Systems assessment executive report released

July 3, 2019

Topic: Board of Education

During the spring of 2019, District 21 partnered with the Consortium for Educational Change (CEC) to conduct a comprehensive assessment of district systems.

Teams of CCSD21 faculty and staff conducted a self-assessment throughout February and March of 2019. In April 2019 an external assessment team of 32 faculty, staff, and administrators from eight school districts in the suburban area volunteered three days of their time in District 21 gathering information, reviewing data, and interviewing members of the Board of Education, administration, faculty, staff, students, and parents.

Following this work, CEC presented a detailed executive summary which identified areas of strength and opportunities for growth in each of the assessment’s three focus areas, Focus on Learning, Focus on Collaboration, and Focus on Results.

More information, and the executive summary report, can be found here.
