The below message was sent to CCSD21 families through ParentSquare, the district’s notification tool. Parents that did not receive this message should send an email to [email protected] to ensure their contact information is up to date.

Dear CCSD21 families,

We are very excited to adopt ParentSquare as a new communication tool at School District 21. ParentSquare replaces SchoolMessenger, the tool we previously used to share updates and emergency alerts. ParentSquare is designed to keep parents informed and facilitate participation at school. It provides a safe way for the district, principal, teachers, staff, and parents to:

• Send and receive school and class information
• Share pictures and files
• See calendar items
• Sign up to volunteer
• and much more . . . all in one centralized place!

In the coming weeks, we will share additional directions and complete further testing of the phone call and texting features, but for today, communication is just going out via email. There is nothing further for you to do at this point.
