flp_image The purpose of the Family Learning Program is to provide affordable and accessible learning opportunities for second language families (adults and children) and empower them to become active participants in all aspects of the school community.

Because of the impact of COVID-19, Family Learning Program activities are currently on pause. We look forward to resuming our programming when it is safe to do so!

Family Learning Program offers flexible opportunities for families to learn and grow, together, and engage within the community.

What opportunities has Family Learning Program offered?

Classes for adults: Computers, English/Spanish, Healthy Cooking, Parenting Skills, Art, Zumba, Yoga, Book Studies
Classes for students: Art, Team sports, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
Childcare: Safe, structured childcare for the children of adults attending classes at Harper College
CHiL: Academic support and mentorship for middle school students
Extracurricular soccer

Clases para estudiantes: arte, deportes de equipo, STEM (ciencia, tecnología, ingeniería y matemáticas)
Cuidado de niños: cuidado de niños seguro y estructurado para los hijos de adultos que asisten a clases en Harper College
CHiL: apoyo académico y tutoría para estudiantes de secundaria
