Board of Education Meetings 2025-26

The School District 21 Board of Education holds monthly meetings of the entire School Board. These are typically held on the third Thursday of the month at 7.00 PM at the District 21 Community Service Center and Administrative Office, 959 W. Dundee Road, Wheeling, IL.

The Board of Education also uses a sub-committee structure to facilitate efficient and in-depth governance. The sub-committees include Community Engagement & Strategic Partnership, Finance & Operations, and Policy.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

Community members may address the Board during the Public Comment section of each meeting.  To share a comment with the board during a meeting, please plan to attend in-person and complete a comment card.  Each speaker may address the Board for up to three (3) minutes. The Public Comment section is limited to a total of sixty (60) minutes.  Alternatively, members of the public may submit public comments for regular Board of Education meetings by emailing [email protected] and including “Public Comment” in the subject line. These comments will be shared with all members of the board and included in the official meeting minutes.
