Dr. Kristina Mitton, M.D.

Medical Director

Dr. Mitton is excited to be the first medical director for the District 21 Health Center. She joins the center after 15 years of service as a pediatrician in the Chicago area. 

Dr. Mitton is a board-certified pediatrician, and graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She also attended medical school at the university before completing her residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?

I love to garden, cook and practice curling (yes, the Olympic sport!) Many nights in the winter, you can find me at the Chicago Curling Club in Northbrook!

WHAT IS YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE?

Ramen.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE COMFORT FOOD?

Spaghetti Carbonara, but following my mom’s recipe (it’s delicious!)
