2018-2019 End of Year Calendar

The following email was issued to parents today, outlining changes that have been made to the school year calendar in May and June.

Dear parents and guardians,

This letter serves to summarize end of year dates and calendar changes for the current 2018-2019 school year. We need to make up four emergency cold/snow days that were used this winter, while also being sensitive to our summer construction schedule. Therefore, the end of the school year will unfold as follows:

We understand families may have already made alternate arrangements based on our initial calendar, especially on Friday, May 24, which was previously a non-attendance day. If your child(ren) will not be able to attend school on May 24, please be sure to contact your school. This absence will be marked as excused.

This calendar will be presented to the Board of Education for final approval in April. Please note that should we use one more emergency day, we will need to make up that additional day in June.
