Dear CCSD 21 Families,
Due to predicted hazardous weather conditions including icing and blowing snow during the morning and afternoon commute, all CCSD 21 schools will be closed to in person learning and an E-Learning Day will be used tomorrow, Thursday, February 17, 2022.
Teachers will communicate with their students/parents with more specific instructions and information on how to access tomorrow’s E-learning. If parents have specific questions on the E-learning day process please email your child’s teacher or school principal.
While there is still a level of uncertainty regarding the severity of the storm, current forecasting is calling for the likelihood of hazardous travel conditions at both the start of the school day tomorrow and Thursday afternoon into the evening. Out of an abundance of caution we believe it is advisable to declare an E-learning day for tomorrow.
Please stay safe and warm tomorrow and we look forward to seeing our students tomorrow via E-learning.
Respectfully,
Dr. Michael Connolly
Superintendent of Schools
