Monitoring weather conditions for Wed., Feb. 6

The following message was issued to parents on Tuesday, February 5:

Dear parents,

Our area is currently under an Ice Storm Warning from 6 PM today, Tuesday, February 5, to 6 AM tomorrow, Wednesday, February 6.

All CCSD21 activities that were scheduled to begin at or after 6 PM today have been cancelled.

We will be monitoring weather and road conditions throughout the night and into the morning and we anticipate travel conditions will be slow tomorrow morning. Please keep this in mind when waiting for the bus or driving to school tomorrow.

As always, please assume school will be in session unless you hear differently from one of our verified channels — a phone call, email, www.ccsd21.org, Facebook, Twitter, or the Emergency Closing Center.
