Seamless Summer

The Seamless Summer Lunch Program, a component of the National School Lunch Program, enables school districts to offer free, healthy meals throughout the summer to students and members of the public 18 years of age and younger.

Students participating in CCSD21-sponsored summer school or enrichment activities will receive lunch in class, or any child in the community can visit the locations noted below.

Beginning Monday, July 6, all participants must follow these requirements:

  1. Children must be present when meals are picked up
  2. Children must eat all perishable food items provided, along with at least one additional menu item, on-site before leaving
  3. Meals cannot be distributed if these requirements are not met

When: Monday, June 8, through Friday, August 7, 2026 (no service on June 19; July 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31)

Time: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

  2. Childerley Park – 506 McHenry Road, Wheeling
  3. Hawthorne Early Childhood Center – 200 Glendale Street, Wheeling
  4. Holmes Middle School – 221 South Wolf Road, Wheeling
  5. Indian Trails Public Library – 355 Schoenbeck Road, Wheeling
  6. Kilmer Elementary School655 Golfview Terrace, Buffalo Grove
  7. Kingswood United Methodist Church – 401 W. Dundee Road, Buffalo Grove
